In a modern cremation plant it is important to reconcile technique, morals, safety, to manage the moment of leave from the deceased and
the rationalization of timing and management procedures. For this reason, the accuracy and uniqueness of the
data collected thanks to automated management is essential to eliminate possible errors and operational problems.
The ID SCAN is the traceability and control system of the entire cremation process. Using an optical reading device through BAR-CODE, this system can communicate in real time with the PLC systems that supervise and manage all the automatisms and functions of modern cremation plants. In fact,
the system is applicable to both GEM-Matthews and to other technologies. The system ensures the identification and
location of the coffin at all stages: from receipt, to internal handling in the cold rooms, cremation, ash treatment and final delivery of the ashes. For
example, the system prevents a coffin other than the one programmed from being placed in the cremator; in fact, in the event of incompatibility
between the code and the coffin, the system does not give consent to the opening of the cremator door, thus avoiding possible human errors.
The system integrates perfectly with the standard ash identification procedures commonly used (identification disks).The ID SCAN is a traceability system unique in the cremation field, capable of receiving and recording infinite daily handling phases and
communicating them wireless to the administrative management system of the activities.
